Milken Center

Six real-time interactive activations for the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream — a live word cloud, a communal Tree of Generations, an AI dream-scene generator, talent portals, a finance timeline, and a tapestry wall. Visitors drive each one from a touchscreen, and the results bloom on the large shared displays around them.

Lead developer of the interactive layer: the kiosk, tablet, and QR-linked mobile webviews, and a real-time server that speaks a show-control protocol to route every screen in the building — heartbeats, health checks, remote restarts. The room's large portal spectacles were a separate TouchDesigner build.

At the heart of it is a generative pipeline. Quiz answers become a GPT-4 prompt; four dream backgrounds are generated with SDXL; the visitor's selfie is inpainted into the one they choose. A parallel pipeline moderates and background-removes every real portrait before it reaches a screen.
